Rae Hendershot’s work can be found in private, corporate, and public collections. The Rae Hendershot Project is active in locating the artist’s work. This is a current list of public collections where her art may be viewed.
Home to her well known work, The Three Graces, 1946, the AGH houses the largest public collection of Hendershot's work. The AGH works are largely from her early and middle career.
In addition to an artwork by Hendershot, The DM&A houses a collection of special clothing belonging to Hendershot that includes her wedding dress and the gowns she wore to the annual AGH gala in her role as wife of the director.

The HPL is home to Hendershot's only publicly commissioned work, the portrait of Dr. Freda Farrell Waldon, 1968.
The AGS houses a series of works by Hendershot, most of which entered the collection through the McCuaig Bequest.
Hendershot was a regular contributor to the Art Gallery of Windsor's ART for All, and many of her works bear the provenance of private collections in this region.
