The Rae Hendershot Project

The Rae Hendershot Project (RHP) was established in 2018 with a mandate of bringing the art of 20 th c. painter Rae Hendershot to wider audiences. The RHP supports the work of curators, researchers, writers, and collectors through its  various initiatives.

The work of the RHP has been made possible by private philanthropy. The RPH gratefully welcomes ongoing financial support. Please contact the RHP to make a donation and support its initiatives.

The RHP is compiling a complete and annotated listing of all known works by Rae Hendershot. Many artworks have yet to be located. Please contact the RHP with information concerning the present whereabouts of artwork by Rae Hendershot or T.R. MacDonald.

The RHP oversees a rich and comprehensive archive documenting the life and work of Rae Hendershot. The archive includes letters, journals, datebooks, written fragments, exhibition catalogues, invitations and photographic material. Researchers interested in learning more about the archive may contact the RHP.
